Class of 2026 recruit Miley Myers had two goals: to play for a competitive volleyball program and to leave college-debt free. So, with nine offers following a whirlwind college recruiting process that she’s documented for NCSA, she had a decision to make: Which offer to take.
The Decision Process
Miley used the NCSA college comparison chart to weigh the pros and cons of each program and how it fit with her goals. The chart helped her compare cost and scholarships, academic standards and track interactions with college coaches.

Using the NCSA College Comparison Chart, you can do a quick comparison of your top schools based on the most important information like location, academics, athletics, cost and scholarships.

The Choice
Miley chose UT Tyler, a Division 2 volleyball program in the Lone Star Conference. Her next step? To call her future coach.
When she told UT Tyler coach Lyndsay Mashe that she was committing, Mashe was enthusiastic. “We are pumped,” she said. “That’s so exciting. I’m glad that you chose us and I’m super excited […] just to see how you grow.”
For Miley, her commitment ended a story that included going through official visits, speaking with college coaches and even moving past rejection from one top choice.
